THIS YEAR TO MARK THE 350th BIRTHDAY OF SRI GURU GOBIND SING JI, WE HAD DECIDED TO HOLD THE EVENT “SIKH ACHIVERS AWARD” ON JAN 13, 2017 IN SHANMUKHANANDA HALL, MUMBAI, along with some Entertainment program.
As part of our aspiration to extend a helping hand to those who seek medical assistance, we strive to follow the ideals of the revered Bhai Ghaniyaji and with his example as a benediction, we hold medical camps in multiple locations. These camps, attended by thousands of patients, serve the sangat and uphold the example of nishkaam seva to the core. Our medical camps in Nanded on the occasion of the 300th year of the Khalsa Sajna Diwas and in Bidar on the 500th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji are a part of this outreach. The entire team of Sat Sri Akaal are proud to serve as volunteers during the medical camps.
The Sat Sri Akaal Trust is an amalgamation of minds that are alive to the need for a body that shall work to the celebration of Sikhism as a way of life. We are beholden to work on social causes that impact the lives of Sikhs around the world, even as we endeavour to work for the benefit of humankind.
This entails working with the various organisations to help organise religious festivals, to celebrate successes of our brethren, to honour and felicitate our achievers, and to work on projects associated with social service at a global level.
Our mission is to ensure that even as we become the cynosure of all eyes due to our philanthropic work, we remain true to the ideals of Sikhism. We shall strive to live up to the teaching of our Gurus even as we put in diligent efforts to bring to light the common good that can be achieved through shared social responsibilities.
Sat Sri Akaal ! We do not Intend to rest on our laurels and intend to continue the work of our dedicaed team toward the upliftment of the human cause. Your contribution in the form Sewa in every form is solicited.
Sat Sri Akaal Charitable Trust also organizes two annual competitions with highly coveted titles given in award namely “MR SINGH (INDIA)” and MISS KAUR INTERNATIONAL During the staging of these contests, prizes are given to the winners, who are Sikhs in a holistic manner and also give out recognition to the SIKH ACHIVER of that year.
These are but events to spread the message of brotherhood and at the same time, inform the youth of the larger message of Sikhism.
